Here’s the recipe we used to make our Favorite Hot Chocolate drinks! Keep the dry mixture in an airtight Tupperware container and spoon it out when desired.
- 6 cups of Dry Powdered Milk
- 1 cup Dry Powdered Dairy Creamer
- 4 cups of Dry Powdered Sugar
- 3 cups of Dry Instant Chocolate Milk Mix (e.g., Nestle’s Quick)
- Whipping Cream or marshmallows, if desired.
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Use a wire whisk and/or serving spoon to blend the ingredients together. Turn the mixture over with the serving spoon and make sure the ingredients are well blended together.
Once completely blended, scoop the mixture into a clean, dry container with an air-tight lid (e.g., Tupperware). Store the container and mixture in a cool, dry place. Use within six (6) months.
For a cup of Hot Chocolate, simply put about one-fourth to one-third of a cup of the dry mixture into a mug and add hot water to the top. Stir the drink gently until the mixture is completely dissolved. If you desire, add additional mixture to reach your desired taste.
Add whipping cream or marshmallows, as desired.
