Note to our Children: You’ve got to love this letter. Mom loved her children and was deeply involved in your lives. At the time she wrote this, Heather was just 11 years old and Marie was just one. Six kids …and me! (Sam wouldn’t be born for another 17 months.) We were a young and growing family. Mom was so very busy and so very proud of you all, as a family and as individuals. This letter to her best friend was so sweet as she reflected upon each of you (us). And, I always loved her handwriting! So beautiful.
